Diabetes can be prevented by just having a physically active lifestyle. Just exercise everyday and avoid eating too much. Avoid sweets and high carb foods too.

Most people get Diabetes because of the lack of exercise and overeating. We should be more aware of our lazy lifestyles and start exercising regulary to avoid Type II Diabetes.

Diabetes may finally have a cure through extensive stem cell research. But for now, diabetes can only be managed by drugs or food supplements that controls blood sugar. I take Alpha Lipoic acid and Chromium because they are helpful in regulating blood sugar.

My dad has type 2 diabetes. He manages diabetes through Diet and Exercise and alo by taking food supplements like Alpha Lipoic acid which helps in preventing nerve damage. He also takes Chromium which helps in the regulation of blood sugar.

A very serious illness. I was working with a colleague when he collapsed at work. He was totally unaware he had diabetes until a blood test confirmed it. Unlike women, guys don’t like to talk about illness or visit their doctors. Maybe we are just too plain scared, but now with these kits you can buy over the counter to test yourself maybe more people will realize its worth checking out.

Yes, let’s blame this on our genes. We wouldn’t want to take any responsibility for ourselves. Think about it for a moment. Did your great great grand parents have diabetes? Chances are pretty good they didn’t. In fact until the last 70 years diabetes was very rare. What does that tell you? It tells you that it’s not your genes — it’s the food you’re eating.

What the researchers are trying to tell you or I should say “brain wash” you into thinking and accepting is this, “We will genetically engineer you to eat the poison the food companies are adding to your food. This way you can survive.”

Sounds like a better solution than simply removing the poisons from the food, doesn’t it?

If diabetes, cancer and every other disease they’re blaming on your genes was really a factor then over the last ten thousand years or so we would had an epidemic of these problems prior to the last 70 years.

I have a friend that had diabetes and after having surgery to have a pancreas and kidney transplant she no longer had diabetes. The pancreas controls the insulin hormone and so I assume this organ transplant is why she no longer has diabetes. Pretty amazing! I had never heard that this can cure diabetes but this is verified as I know this lady personally.

thanks for the podcast. There is lots of info out there about diabetes. I personally have learned to live with diabetes through using natural means like laughter and a positive attitude. I picked up some great ideas from a book my mom gave me at www.diabetesdoneright.com. It really helped me a lot.

I just read on another blog about a vaccine that has been invented for type 1 diabetes. I also read about doctors that think they found genes that might cause type 2 diabetes. Hopefully all these advances will bring along positive results soon.
