When we think of Patch Adams, we think of the movie starring Robin Williams. Very few of us know about the real Patch Adams and his story. I was fortunate enough to be granted an interview with Patch when he was in Ottawa to speak at the Holistic World Expo on October 22. Patch will be appearing at Holistic World Expo in Toronto (Metro Toronto Convention Centre, March 17-19, 2006).

NOTE: This show contains two uncensored profanities.

[...] Incidentally, this is the same Expo at which I interviewed Patch Adams. [...]

Bottom Line: He is RIGHT. We need to listen to his wisdom, history shows that the nut becomes the genius with time.

I like Patch but I think he has some bad ideas on the country. First off, it is not all about the poor old blacks or poor old hispanics, it is about poor people who need help. Also, many of these so called poor people choose to be poor. I am a poor man, but I am poor by illness. Most poor are poor because they choose to be. They refuse to do anything about their problems. They want someone to take care of their needs. They refuse. I will not stand and listen to people say blacks are picked on. Bull shit! They are given more than any other race. Today we have Illegal Aliens running around. This government gives them everything. I am a Viet Nam War Veteran and I get dog shit. No help with medical, not nothing! They (Illegal aliens) get it all for nothing. So, now you know the truth Patch old boy.
