Media coverage with Madelaine Drohan
Podcasts, Portrait

Sunday, July 24, 2005 - 9:00 pm

Because of a hole I dug for myself in a conversation with my wife, I needed to find a media expert to make sense of my argument. I found a Journalist in Residence in the School of Journalism and Communications at Carleton Univeristy, Madelaine Drohan. Madelaine is an award-winning author and journalist who has covered business and politics in Canada, Europe and Africa during a twenty-five-year career.

Hey Mark, I am now an official subscriber to your show. Finally a pod-cast that’s has a purpose! So many shows are self involved but yours is personal, inquisitive and honest. I love that you don’t just force your opinion. You seek expert advice to back up or even trash those opinions. (and mine in a voyeuristic sort of way ? or should that be “Audio-istic”) Great questions. Great pace. Great show. Ps. have you thought about interviewing the queen? I’d love to know what she keeps in her purse? Perhaps Adrienne Clarkson knows. Catch ya on the Download! (literally) /f

Hey Frank! Great to hear from you, and thanks a million for the great feedback. Now there’s more pressure on me to continue putting out solid shows. Thanks for the idea. I’m on the case to find out what the Queen has in her purse!
