Ian Copeland and Quarter Life
Electric Sky,Podcasts

Thursday, June 2, 2005 - 3:04 am

I delayed the release of this show until I could connect with Ian Copeland, who is the feature guest of this show. Thanks for your patience.

Ian happened into the role of booking agent in the 1970′s, following two tours of duty in Vietnam. Among the many artists he booked tours for are The Police, Sting, Squeeze, Ultravox, Gang of Four, The Go-Go’s and Joan Jett. He now runs The Backstage Cafe in Beverly Hills, California, after retiring from Frontier Booking International, a booking agency he set up. His book, Wild Thing, is a great read!

I’m still learning the ropes of putting a show together. My inexperience and lack of planning means that I end up putting my shows together until the wee hours of the morning. I hope to get better at this over time. Feedback is always appreciated.
